If you’re just another gal who loves unusual creatures like me, you might like Florida. In southwest Florida, you can literally be like in Zoo. You’ll see coatis, a Raccoon-sized mammal around trees, Alligators (but not in the Zoo!), Loggerhead Turtles, Bobcats, gopher tortoises, black bears, and so many more. Isn’t that cool? Some people would say if you live in Florida, you can never complain. Not just that, with its mild winter and hot summer, Florida is the perfect place. Among Florida’s top attractions are Walt Disney World, Epcot Center, and Universal Studios.

Where is Florida?

Florida is the southeasternmost state of the U.S. and has the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico on either side. Tallahassee is the capital state. It is a large and diverse state with more than 1,000 miles of coastline along the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. With the temperate climate comes beautiful beaches and water and hundreds of sunny days a year. It is a famous home for retirees and a famous tourist destination.

The city of Naples in southwest Florida is known for its high-end shopping and golf courses. It’s one of the wealthiest cities in the country. There’s a story that the bay it’s on is prettier than the Bay of Naples in Italy, so it got its name. As beautiful as Italy, it has scenic vistas and picturesque scenery. Naples is located in the southwestern part of Italy. The landscaping of homeowners’ houses is common, making the place beautiful and giving it a classy Spanish style, just as if you were in Spain.
