Retiring and Looking to Move to Utah?

We definitely have our lists of the top states where it’s best to live, but I should be guessing right if Utah is one of your lists. I was able to pay a visit once last year here. And out of all the states that I have visited, this state is definitely one of my top lists. I’m from California, and yes California has so many beautiful places and magnificent shorelines, and many beautiful landmarks. There’s so much to do in these places. They’ve got the best trails. If you love hiking, this is such a great place for you to live. and for so many other things to do, as yet unmentioned.

Outdoor Activities

It is easy to find something to do in Utah County whether you are looking for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, or going to the lake; anything you want to do outdoors is at your disposal. The trails are excellent and there are unlimited trails, so if you’re only five minutes up the canyon, you can feel as if you’re far away from the city.

Very Practical for People without Cars

The public transportation infrastructure in Utah County allows you to get around without a problem. Public transportation isn’t as good as it is in NYC, but the communities are constantly working to improve it. It is the Utah Transit Authority’s website that details the public transportation options from Provo to Salt Lake. The public transportation network allows you to quickly get around the entire valley without the need to drive.

Country, Rocky Mountains, Backlands but Metropolitan Living Underneath

While North Utah County is located away from the hustle and bustle of the modern city, Salt Lake City, perhaps it is still near all the major metro areas. There are many amenities and services available to retirees, such as world-renowned healthcare systems and universities. And, of course, there are 114 golf courses to choose from, and the stunning Wasatch Mountains provide endless opportunities for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities.

Besides, It's Lower Cost of Living

Even with evidently high standards of living, you are guaranteed a lower cost of living compared to any other state in the country

Almost Safe Place: Low Crime Rate

You’re probably wondering if Utah County is really as safe as all of its residents claim. With a low crime rate and an improved public education system, it’s hard to argue with the facts. One of the significant advantages of living in Utah County is that it has a low crime rate. In terms of crime rate, Utah consistently ranks at the bottom of the US States, with most of the crime coming from the larger metropolises.
